Our Story
From 2004 to Today
HZX's story began in 2004 when founder Sun Qiang, then 28, rented a 1,200 sqm old factory in Leidian Town, Deqing, with an 8-person technical team and began die-casting aluminum parts for motorcycles. The first year they lost RMB 600k; the second year they broke even on small-batch electric-bicycle brackets for a local OEM. In 2014 the team bet the entire profit on a 1,600-ton magnesium injection machine to ride the NEV lightweighting wave, won a slot in a leading Chinese NEV maker's supply chain, and in 2018 added a 3,500-ton mega-die island — becoming one of the few vendors able to deliver 100kg-class integrated body castings. In 2024 the company moved HQ to its current 18,000 sqm site (No.69 Yunhe Road), with registered capital RMB 150M and 280+ employees.
Founder & Leadership
Engineering-Driven Team
Sun Qiang, CEO — graduated from Hefei University of Technology (Materials, 1997); has been in Mg/Al die-casting since 2003, led 18 process R&D programs and 3 national invention patents; member of Deqing CPPCC 14th session, Huzhou major industrial project evaluation expert. Li Yuting, VP — joined 2008, runs overseas business and brand; led the contracts with Toyota, Honda, BMW, Geely (8 OEM customers). Wang Zhenhua, CTO — Professor-level Senior Engineer, adjunct supervisor at Tongji University; magnesium castings specialist since 1998, expert in heat-treatment and vibration-fatigue of large integrated castings. Senior Advisor: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Weber (former German National Academy of Engineering Sciences member, ex-chief of Audi's aluminum R&D).
Industry Position
Mg/Al Lightweight Tier-1
China is the world's #1 magnesium producer (500kt+ annually, 80%+ of global output), but 90% of that is exported as raw material. HZX ranks in the first tier of Yangtze Delta lightweight auto-parts players with 8M die-castings/year and full IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certification. Customer mix: OEM 60% (Toyota/Honda/BMW/Geely and 8 more, 30+ vehicle models), ODM 30% (Thyssenkrupp, Bosch, Michelin aftermarket), spot wholesale 10%. Export revenue 65%; overseas warehouses in Rotterdam and Los Angeles support a 14-day delivery promise. Joint labs with Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Hefei University of Technology; 3 provincial-level research programs per year.
Sustainability
Solar-Powered, Closed-Loop Manufacturing
100% of our factory power comes from rooftop solar (1.2 MW installed, 38% self-use in 2024). Closed-loop water system recycles 95% of die-casting cooling water: 0.8 m³ per ton of casting vs the industry-average 1.6 m³. Aluminum and magnesium scrap are sorted and recycled; 92% recovery rate in 2024 (re-melted and re-introduced). All shipped parts are 100% inspected under IATF 16949; 1.5% ≤ defect rate ≤ 1,000 PPM. 2026 ESG roadmap: rooftop solar to 2 MW by 2030; Scope 1+2 carbon neutrality by 2030. We are a candidate for Zhejiang Province's 2025 'Green Factory' designation.
